About David Blunt
Pastor David Blunt and his wife, Kim, are the pastors of Church on the Rock – a non-denominational church located in the St. Louis area.
Pastor Blunt was raised in the Assembly of God denomination and his wife Kim, was raised Baptist. Heeding the call of God upon their lives, they attended Southwestern Assemblies of God Bible College in Waxahachie, Texas. After college they were ordained through the Assemblies of God denomination and pastored churches in Iowa and Missouri.
In 1983, God led David and Kim to start Church on the Rock, a charismatic, non-denominational ministry in St. Peters, Missouri. From that first meeting with 35 people in a local library, Church on the Rock has grown to a vibrant congregation of nearly 6,000 members with a vision to impact its city, this nation, and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Throughout both the local church and live online broadcasts, Pastor Blunt’s insights into the Word challenge and inspire believers to grow to new levels in their relationship with God and their service to others. His practical, personable teaching style causes the scriptures to come alive in the hearts of people and draws them into a personal encounter with Jesus. This life-changing ministry is committed to raising up and equipping believers to answer the call of God upon their lives and to become all that He created them to be.

Dear Pastor Blunt
Grace and peace be unto you from Jesus Christ our Lord.
Having fasted and prayed for international affiliation, partnership, and collaboration with other ministries who have the same purpose as ours inorder to work together for the rapid advancement of God’s Kingdom in these last days, we were led on the internet where we came across a lot of ministries and churches including yours. Upon this encounter, we began to carefully pray for God’s direction concerning which of these ministries He wanted us to join or link up with. And it was from this that the Lord divinely led us to your ministry. Upon this direction, a leadership and congregational meeting was convene at which time a unanimous decision was reached to be a part of your ministry in Liberia and West Africa where we are seriously determine to spread the ministry since it was God’s direction for us. We have also decided to function with your covering having you serve as our spiritual covering and mentor of all our churches, thus having you as our spiritual father and international overseer.
At present, we have three vibrant churches in Liberia, while we are embarking on planting a church in other African countries namely: Ghana, Sierra Lone, and Guinea all in West Africa. I just visited these places. We already have two of our missionaries in Ghana for this purpose. We also have a non-denominational evangelistic network missions comprising of national pastors, churches, christian leaders and workers from other churches as members. The purpose of this evangelistic network is to reach the interior parts of Liberia, and Africa through national and international meetings such as crusades, revivals, conferences, training workshops for pastors and christian leaders and wrokers, planting churches where there is no church, and most of all reaching to where christ has not been named. We also have a INTERIOR PASTORS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM that is aimed at providing the basic human needs of suffering pastors, ministers and missionaries that are working in the interior inorder to help them smoothly fulfill their purposes for God. We also have gold and diamond mining projects that we intent to go into in order to financially carry out our mission for God. But due to the banned placed on Liberia diamonds, and the lack of machinaries and trained men in this area, we have not began our mining projects yet.

Hi Pastor Blunt,
I attended COTR for two years when I moved to St. Charles from Alabama. From the first time I visited COTR I knew it was the perfect place for me to plant my feet. For two years I attended COTR and I definitely grew stronger and stronger. Well as of February 2010, I have relocated to the Atlanta, Georgia area. I have not found a church home as of yet based on numerous reasons. However, I do still feel connected to COTR thanks to all of the wonderful online tools that are made available. Today I just downloaded the iPhone App and I am excited about using it. Additionally, I subscribe to your podcasts via iTunes, am following COTR on Twitter and FB. I said all of this to say, keep doing what your doing for the people in the St. Peters area as well as around the world. I am so appreciative of the tools that you make available.
Missing COTR dearly! You all will remain in my heart and prayers.

Hearing the teachings of God through your eyes has helped me more than you know…you have pulled me from the ledge~ I thank God for directing me to my new home in Christ~even my children get such amazing blessings from attending.. my 7 year old asked me the other day if we could live there!
